B-52’s have flown around the world non-stop with aerial refueling, and one flew from Okinawa, Japan to Spain un-refueled non-stop, a trip of over 12,000 miles.
The B-29 proved a critical design achievement for the American military, particularly concerning actions in World War 2 and Korea (1950-1953).
